Our second wedding anniversary

Well, we made it another wonderful year! A lot has happened in our lives since our last anniversary. The first obvious change has been the arrival of Michael Jr. He brings us so much joy everyday, and we can't imagine life without him! The other change has been the start of our landscaping business. It has been doing a little better than we had expected it would in its first year, and Mike has so many ideas of where he wants to take it next.

Last night we went to dinner somewhere new. It is called the Main St. Grille located in Mishawaka, and it was wonderful! It was very fine dining, and very romantic. Mike gave me a new digital camera, and I gave him a new cell phone and a pair of boxers (to satisfy the traditional "cotton" gift). It was a great anniversary, and we look forward to many more!!

Cruising

Michael is really getting the hang of "cruising" - walking while hanging on to furniture or any other object within reach. Last night we tried the push toy again, and he did it! I posted a video of this latest accomplishment. He was so excited and proud of himself, and so were we!! He has really been doing a lot more free standing too, since last Thursday. Usually we would stand him up and let go of him. He is now letting go of things on his own. We think he may let go and take actual steps in a few more weeks!!

Free Standing

Well, on my 36th birthday, Michael hit another milestone - free standing! We were at the photographer's, getting MJ's 9 month photos taken. While we were getting him ready, he was standing, hanging on to one of us (I can't remember who it was now) and he let go and stood for about 5 seconds! We all looked at him in amazement! Our little baby boy is growing up so fast!
