Summer is here!

Well, summer is almost here. Close enough! Michael has started spending Mondays and Tuesdays with Grandma W. He seems to really enjoy it, and it is a bear when we take him to daycare on Wednesday morning. He will be will Grandma until she goes back to working 5 days a week in September. That is, unless she throws in the towel before then! LOL!

Michael has been a real handful lately. It seems the terrible twos are here early. He is getting very stubborn, and if he doesn't get exactly what he wants, watch out!

His favorite word these days is "BUNNY!" He loves his blue bunny, and wants it all the time. We have always left Bunny in Michael's crib, and that is where it stays, but he asks for it constantly. Sometimes we give in, and let him have it, but that has to stop. At daycare, he became attached to a bunny puppet they had there, and they now only let him have it for naptime. He has screamed through lunchtime because he refused to eat without the bunny. My biggest fear is that something will happen to Bunny. We do not have a replacement, so that is another reason why it stays in bed. It is so cute when he gets to go to bed and have bunny. He gets the biggest smile on his face, giggles like crazy, hugs it, and says, "Bunny, bunny, bunny!" If only he were that happy when he sees Mom & Dad!

My first 5k

I ran in a 5K on June 2, 2007. It was the Sunburst in South Bend. I didn't hit my goals, but still did ok for it being my first official 5K. I ran it in 34:23. I am hoping to run another one this summer, and maybe a 10K in the fall. Of course, all of this depends on when I get pregnant again. This month we are officially starting to try for baby #2! Wish us luck!
