This is the story of the Bean Counter, who fell in love with the Green Thumb, and they produced two beautiful little sprouts.

New Norah Update
The doctors did not find cancerous cells in the fluid around the area where Norah's tumor was found. That is great news! However, she will still be undergoing chemo, and has many hospital stays ahead of her. There may also be a chance that Norah's treatment will cause infertility. This is heartbreaking news, but Norah's parents are making tough decisions - decisions that will allow Norah to be in their lives for a very, very long time. They make a decision on which route to take with Norah's treatment today. They still need continued prayers! They have a rough road ahead of them in the coming year!

Letters and Potty
Michael now knows his letters and their sounds! You can point to any letter and he will tell you what it is, and the sound that it makes. For Christmas, Santa gave Michael a DVD called The Letter Factory by Leap Frog. He loves it, and demands to watch "Letters" all the time. I guess after watching it 20 times, it started to sink in! LOL!
Michael's teachers at daycare are always telling us how impressed they are at how quickly he learns things. He knew his colors before a lot of the other kids, and also picked up on his shapes faster. Now you add in the alphabet, and numbers...we are very proud parents!
He is a little slower in the potty training area, but we did have a breakthough Tuesday night. He finally went pee in the potty for the first time! He has had a potty chair for many many months, and he also has a little seat that fits over the regular toilet. He would sit on either one a lot, but never went potty. Now, he hasn't gone again since Tuesday, but we are not pushing him. It will happen...
