Pictures!

I finally uploaded the pictures from Christmas off my camera.

Here we are on Christmas Eve, being goofy and modeling our matching PJs!

Christmas

Well, it's back to work for me, and I am somewhat thankful for that. It always seems like the holidays are so busy, and we are running here and there. It is nice to get back to our schedules, and let things calm down a bit!

Christmas was very nice. We were able to spend time with family and friends, which is always fun. Also, this was the first year that Michael really grasped the concept of Christmas and Santa. It was a lot of fun hearing his exclamations of joy when he opened each present, and seeing the look on his face. He was thrilled that Santa remembered what he asked for, and it was waiting for him under the tree when he woke up.

We are now looking towards 2009. We are unsure what this new year will bring, and are concerned about the economy and the impact it will have on our incomes. We will definitely be watching our spending for the next 6 months or so, just in case.

We are planning on ringing in the New Year at home this year, just the 3 of us. In the 6 years that Mike and I have been together, we have never done this. We have always spent the evening with friends, and it has always been so much fun. But this year I just felt like being at home. Having a low key, quiet evening just feels right this year.

Happy New Year, Everyone!

Holiday Program 2008

Here is a clip of Michael's program from last night.  Some of the kids were under the weather, so it was a small group, but I think they did great!  It's pretty quick, so don't blink!  Thanks to all that attended!
