Movie Night

Tonight we watched "Bedtime Stories." It didn't really hold Michael's interest. There were a few parts that he really cracked up over though!

Orange for Stellan

New Wheels

We have talked about it for a while now, and finally did it.  We purchased some Power Wheels for Michael.  Daddy has been wanting a new set of golf clubs for quite some time now, but he wanted to get this for Michael more.  MJ loves it!!

The Easter Bunny brought him 4 hot wheels, 2 glider planes, a Star Wars light saber, a Spiderman web shooter, Spiderman sunglasses, mini sea animals, bunny shooters, capsules that turn into dinosaurs in warm water, a couple of chocolate bunnies, and tons of candy.

The Zoo!

Aunt Connie, MJ, and I went to the zoo on Friday.  Since it was a short day due to Good Friday, I wanted to do something fun with the boy, and get some exercise (walking) in at the same time.  Quite a few animals were not there yet, but we still had a blast.  We have a membership this year, so I am sure we will be going back again, and see the animals we missed.  I would like to see the butterflies, and of course MJ wants to ride the train, the pony, and pet the goats!

Egg Hunt

It was the annual "Spring Fling" at Michael's daycare.  It is so fun every year, and this year was no exception.  We met the Easter Bunny, hunted for eggs, face painted, and got a Spiderman balloon animal!  Grandma joined us.  Here's the pics!

 

 

He looks thrilled to see the Easter Bunny, doesn't he??  If he only knew that was his teacher in there, he may have warmed up to the furry one a bit more!  LOL!

Movie Night

We have started a new tradition in our house. Friday nights are "Family Movie and a Pizza Night." We make sure we rent a new kids' movie every week, and eat pizza on TV trays in front of the tube in the family room. Since we are adamant about eating at the dinner table as a family every night, this is a special treat! We look forward to it every week! Mike even has turned down golf (by choice!) to stay home for family night!



Tonight's feature film is Brother Bear. Good times!!

Bugs and Flowers

It was such a gorgeous afternoon!  Mike and MJ were outside playing while I was cooking dinner.  At one point I looked out the window, and saw them hunting for bugs.  I couldn't resist running out there to take some pictures.  This is one of Michael's favorite backyard activities!
