The one thing that has really changed with Allison in the past 3 months has been her vocabulary. Not only has she been adding new words everyday, she has been forming 2-4 word sentences! Some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head are:
"What you/Daddy/Michael doing?"
"I'm coming!"
"Where Michael/Daddy at?"
"Put baby's coat on!"
"Oh my gosh!"
"Night-night, Daddy!"
"I go bye-bye!"
"Brush teeth!"
"Wash hands!"
"I do/did it!"
"I do/did it!"
And yes, I realize I put an exclamation point at the end of most of those. For good reason. She is always yelling. Especially when she is tyring to get my attention. She starts out with a modest "Mommy!" If I don't look at her right away, she says "Mommy!" a little louder. If I still don't answer or acknowledge her, She gets really loud, "MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!" until I finally say "What?" I am considering changing my name.
Another new thing is that she asks for help. She will come to me and say, "Mommy, help!" She will stand there and stare at me until I start to walk towards her, and then she will lead me to whatever she needs. It is usually retrieve a toy or to get something unstuck from some crevice.
Her hair is out of control. It is getting sooo long. It really needs cut, but I am having a hard time bringing myself to do it. Well, I don't mean that I am planning to cut it myself. I can't bring myself to make an appointment for a professional to cut it. I know it needs cut, and it will, some day.
She loves to count! It goes a little something like this: "Oooone, Twoooo, Eeeeee, Twooooo, Eeeeee, Sis, Even, tate, nine, nine, two..." I am super impressed. She says the numbers like she is singing, and it is super cute!
Well, it is getting late, so I will end with a couple of sweet pictures of my almost 2 year old. Yikes! How can that be??
